[She bursts into a fit of laughter and doesn't respond with what she would have liked to respond with and instead turns her attention as her giggles die away again. Her hand taps the floor a little more gently this time and that calls Charley into the room and to her. Perhaps this will work in her favour? She flashes Phoenix a determined yet cheeky smile.]

Tofu!

[She might be cheating a little with the giant wyvern next to her who squawks out loud and manages to keep the little one's attention fixed on her... and he starts crawling across the room with quick, excited breaths through his itty bitty nostrils, waggling his bum right at Phoenix.]

AH-HA!

[His shoulders slump in disappointment for a moment, but he manages to pick himself up and smile lightly.]

Well... that's the name he chose. [And at least it's not an option we eat often.

He steps over towards Maya and the wyvern.]

[She's quick to lean forward and scoop up the wyvern from the floor, standing up next to Phoenix and holding the baby out to him after giving him a nuzzle with her nose. He squeaks up at the two of them and wriggles as Charley joins in.]

Tofu it is! Another victory in the bag for Maya Fey.

[She nudges the wyvern again at Phoenix. Take him.]

Congratulations, I guess. [He admits with a small laugh, and then the air warms up as he takes the wyvern in his arms.]

He's taken a liking to you already!

[Tofu squawks and wiggles in Phoenix's hands when she reaches out to scratch his belly and, with a satisfied sigh, Maya slaps Phoenix on the back.]

Good thing, too. I'm gonna go grab some food for the little guy. I'm not sure what he'll like so a bit of everything should do the trick. Can you make sure the dogs eat too while I'm gone? Oh, and Charley, too! You might need to slice and dice some meat I left in the fridge for him.

[No room for debate. She meanders out of the room, leaving him there with the two wyverns and the two dogs all waggling their tails at him, and Maya gives him a wave as she calls back over her shoulder.]
