Well... Kind of, but not for me. [He frowns.]

I've been looking after my daughter and some other friends of mine who have been sick lately, and... they've already made their way through all the soup I have around the house. So... I think they'd really appreciate at least a little more.

[I don't want to lay on the pressure, but I don't want to let them down either.]

[riku looks almost amused by that. guy, if you told him it was for your kid, he would've let go. no need to detail how sickly and fragile she is and this soup is her only hope!!]

[He turns for a moment, taking out a piece of paper and a pen he had on him. He spends a moment scribbling, and then...]

[normal people say things without sudden shouting. then again, riku's given up hoping for normal at this point so it works. he takes the note, reading it and then shoving it in a pocket.]

I may hold you to this.

[free soup won't get passed up, that's for sure.]

Thank you, Riku. I appreciate this... I really do. [And that IOU will be follow up on in. In probably a week or so, a new can of chicken soup will be delivered right to Riku, with a nice little bow wrapped around it.]

It's been nice getting to know you again. [And wearing fashion that, while still falling outside of my understanding, at least doesn't look like it's suited only for a funeral.]
