[He doesn't like being out of his realm of experience, truthfully, so when Phoenix asks about Baymax he latches right onto something he knows and loves.]
Uh huh. He's usually with me, especially if I'm at work. [If he sounds amused, it's because he is.] He's not really good with phones yet though. He's better with face to face introductions. [The CereVice is kinda too small for Baymax's pudgy balloon hands.]
Hold on a sec. [There's a pause and some shuffling before the call turns into a video chat and Hiro throws the holographic display up onto a wall so it can encompass everything.]
Phoenix, this is Baymax. Baymax, Phoenix Wright. [The nursebot looks up at the screen now and politely waves.] It is nice to meet you, Phoenix. [The speech is still a little stilted, but he's getting better at least.]
[Once Phoenix realizes the shift, he quickly readjusts his hold on the CereVice as his screen projects the image as well. He looks on somewhat in wonder - he's known some pretty advanced robots back home and even cross-examined one, but Bayax still seems to be in a different class.]
Hi there Baymax! [He smiles sheepishly as he waves to the robot.] Um... nice to finally meet you! [...What else do I say to a robot.]
[It's the same sort of look Hiro had on his own face the first time he met Baymax, and the same look most people in the colony have when they meet him. He sits back to let the pair of them chat, more than amused at Phoenix's response.]
It is going well. My sensors indicate there is no longer a breech in security.
We never made him ghost-ready back home, so he's getting reacquainted with everything and compiling data on the last couple of days to keep on file. His armor got damaged a little bit, too, so that's my next project. [He smirks lightly and he can't help but ask:] Not what you were expecting?
[That's a relief. The paranormal activity here was started to be even more oversaturated than the Paranormal Activity films. Phoenix kind of smiles in wonder and laughs nervously.]
He's just different from the robots I know back home. That's all! But that's really neat. It's not often that you can say that your robot's being upgraded to be ghost-proof.
[Now he focuses his attention back on Baymax's image.]
But, um, sounds like you did a great job there. Way to go, Baymax!
We will be prepared for next time. [Look at that, there's even a thumbs up. It also seems as though he's picked up some information from Hiro that may or may not be true.]
Well we're also from the future, probably. Most people I've talked to are from several years behind us...it's 2032 for us. Technology's advanced a lot in the last couple of decades. What kind of robots do you know about anyway?
[Thumbs up. What an adorable marshmallow robot... Phoenix gives a quick thumbs up right back before he focuses on Hiro's words.]
Huh! So you're a few years ahead... We were just ended 2027 in my home. I can't say that I look into technology that often, but the last case I worked on back home did involve robots. They seemed... pretty advanced? Not like Baymax or the robots they have here, but some of them were very talkative and can express some emotions.
[He nervously chuckles.] Athena would be your person for the details there!
[Five years ago, huh.] You're still probably one of the closest in our timeline, but I guess that makes sense since Athena told me the same thing. But sometimes CERES pulls people from different points in time based on what data they can recover so...[Shrug. Stop fumbling over words, Hiro.]
Athena and I have kinda talked about some of the tech back wherever you're from. Mostly Widget, actually, which is kinda cool but it's not San Fransokyo. [#bias] I know you're a lawyer, Phoenix, but what kind of case would involve robots? [A pause.] And if you're a lawyer back home, what're you doing here anyway?
[He nods.] I know what you mean. Some of my friends here are around a decade behind me.
Ah yes... I almost forgot about Widget. [He smirks. Gee, what a humble kid...] As for the case...
[Now he turns more serious as he goes on.]
Well, I don't think that it's my place to talk about it in full detail. The crime, well... it involve some factors that were very personal for Athena and Apollo. But I'll settle for saying that a murder was committed in a robotics lab, and... a robot acted as a vital witness in the case, and- and I even cross-examined him.
I always kinda wanted to try time travel, but I didn't think it'd be this easy. [But enough goofing off, this is now a more serious matter. He's listening, and his expression shifts to something a little more concerned since he knows Apollo and he likes Athena very much.
No, the robot really was just a witness in the end. [Although the real murderer was far from an ordinary person.] But the deductions that he made were vital toward catching the real killer. The case has been successfully closed.
Huh. [That's definitely something he might want to ask Athena later...] Too bad solving everything here isn't nearly as easy is it? It's not like we could just cross-examine CERES until they crack.
[...could they? This may or may not be a scheming look on his face, please don't ask.]
Trust me. If there was way to get them into a room where they wouldn't have a million ways of silencing or dismissing me, I'd be all over that idea. [Especially while I have the Magatama on me. I don't want to imagine how many Psyche-Lockes Recreare or Mosley could make appear...]
I guess I'll just keep on hoping for some kind of a plan or opportunity to make something like that happen..
Let's just say I have a lot of questions, a lot of ideas, and a lot of plans, Phoenix. It ties right into my other goals anyway. [And because he seems to be slightly hesitant.] But I'll be careful. They haven't caught on so far.
Then keep making sure that they don't. [He simply says that with a nod. He is very curious, but he also knows that CERES could be listening in on the conversation.]
But if you ever need my help for something, just say the word.
[Just watch him, dude. Hiro's very convinced he's going to change a lot of things around here someday soon.]
I appreciate that. I'll let you know...we might need somebody to bail us out down the line. [There's a short grin.] Uh. Same goes for you though. We're in a tech-based colony and that's sort of my expertise so...y'know. [If he needs something, Hiro can probably create it.]
How did...you know what? Never mind, I don't wanna know. But I'll keep that in mind. [It'll be a test of patience, but he's getting better.] Anyway, we should get back to work. I'll catch you later?

But... Right. I should leave you to your work! [Those young genius types always need a lot of solitude, I hear.] It's been a good talk.
Catch you later! [He smiles and waves goodbye.]
