She was in my tour group. I thought you'd like to know she's safe because I'm told getting out in one piece wasn't terribly common.

You're right. It was dangerous there.
If you helped keep her safe, I could never thank you enough, Miss Blackquill.

Tell me Mr Wright, how do you end up collecting such small children? You're one of those people they call a "natural dad" at this rate.

I'm not sure if I'm familiar with the term. But I just try to look out for young people in trouble when I find them?
I dunno
Sometimes I wonder that too.

No, why?
[
Don't tell me she wants to hook me up, too. What if she tries making one for me... If I wanted a robot wife, I'd marry Edgeworth.

I guess I used the wrong tense, whoops. Did you win the custody battle for your little girl or did mister chief prosecutor just give it to you because he could?

There was no custody battle, and the chief prosector has never been part of the family in that way to begin with.
It's been me and her ever since I took her in. Her real father pulled a literal disappearing act, at the end of the trial that had cost me my badge.

I have never seen a man rush over so ostentatiously to meet a "friend", Mr. Wright.

Well
There's a first time for everything? He had a lot of investment in that case in particular, too.

Hah! You're a funny one Mr Wright.
... I'm envious that you're so well loved.

...
I'm sorry to hear that, Miss Blackquill.
But it's never too late to find ways to surround yourself with love of all kinds.
